Child Poverty Taskforce

Non-inquiry session

This session will be a joint evidence session of the Education Committee and the Work and Pensions Committee.

The Education Committee and Work and Pensions Committee will question experts on child poverty, in anticipation of the Government’s upcoming Child Poverty Strategy. The session will look at trends and patterns in child poverty over time, the work of previous governments to tackle child poverty, and which policies have been successful.
