Rough Sleeping

Inquiry

The Committee has launched a short inquiry on rough sleeping, looking at the causes of rough sleeping, why it has been on the rise in recent years, and at potential solutions.

The Committee is looking at previous approaches taken by Government and local authorities to tackle rough sleeping and at the effectiveness of initiatives such as the ‘Housing First’ strategy.

The inquiry is focussing on homelessness issues in England.
