Following its work on the British Steel Pension Scheme, the Committee will question Government Actuary Martin Clarke and Karl Banister, Director of Operations, Legal and Clinical, from the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman on the Atomic Energy Agency Technology pension case.
This inquiry is based on an ongoing NAO investigation which will set out the facts surrounding the AEA Technology pension scheme restructure in 1996, pension scheme members’ subsequent complaints that they were badly advised by the Government Actuary, and the difficulties they have had in getting their complaints heard.
If you have evidence on these issues please submit it here by 6pm on Sunday 5 March.
Please have a look at the requirements for written evidence submissions and note the Committee cannot accept material as evidence that has been published elsewhere.
