Broadcasting in Wales follow-up: S4C funding

The Committee examines the Channel’s proposed review and its future funding arrangements.

In 2015, the Government announced a 25% reduction to S4C's grant. This was subsequently frozen for the duration of a proposed review. Yet details of the review's timetable, terms of reference or Chairperson are yet to been announced. Given this delay, it remains unclear if the Channel faces another reduction in the Government’s grant over the coming year.
