Lewis to face Committee questions on Protocol
Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis will face questions from the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee in an evidence session on Monday.
Likely areas of questioning
Among the topics likely to be covered by MPs are:
- the impact of Brexit including the operation of and negotiations on the Northern Ireland Protocol;
- the status of Northern Ireland’s institutions following the resignation of the First Minister;
- progress on Irish and Ulster Scots ‘cultural package’ proposals, as committed to in the New Decade, New Approach deal; and
- proposals aimed at addressing the legacy of the Troubles.
