Energy industry bodies are set to face questions from MPs on whether the sector can overcome the barriers to reaching net zero targets and the costs and benefits of potential solutions.

On a separate panel, prominent researchers will discuss the feasibility of these solutions, helping the Committee develop a blueprint for achieving Northern Ireland’s renewable targets.
