DB pension schemes inquiry: Work and Pensions Committee to hold evidence session on governance and role of pension superfunds
The Work and Pensions Committee inquiry into defined benefit pension schemes continues with a session on governance, including challenges and possible improvements. There will be an opportunity look at how the interests of scheme members are taken into account, for example, in decisions on the use of scheme surpluses and to return to current debates around the role of pension superfunds.
