Trade Secretary questioned on work of the Department

The International Trade Committee questions the Secretary of State on the work of the Department for International Trade (DIT), including around the Government’s trade policy and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Earlier this month the Committee invited members of the public to #AskKemi by sending in their questions about the work of the Department, and a selection of these will be put to the Secretary of State.

Experts and interested members of the public have been encouraged to ask questions on subjects such as staffing within DIT and the work of the Trade Remedies Authority, alongside any other topics related to DIT’s work.

The MPs will draw on submissions to inform some of their questioning in the session.
