Written submission from a member of the public (ANI0186)

I have enclosed a personal testimony of why abortion is murder and how it has had an impact on myself and family. Also why God is very angry with the world, especially those who support abortion.

TESTIMONY Approximately [20-30] years ago my ex-wife became pregnant for the second time. We had already had a [0-5] year old beautiful daughter.

I was shocked she wanted to terminate and at first I tried to dissuade her from this. Unfortunately I agreed some weeks later and accompanied her to the abortion clinic in [location] near [town].

This has ever since had an impact on me and I deeply regret not trying to persuade my ex-wife from going through with this.

After this our marriage collapsed and ended up in divorce.

I sometimes keep in contact with my ex-wife through my [20-30] year old daughter who has finally opened up to me that her mother is very ill with mental health problems. I’m not going to go into detail, but what I want to say is the same thing happened to me. I just wish we had been strong enough to enjoy our second child together. We would have had a [20-30] year old son or daughter and I have deprived my [20-30] year old daughter of a brother or sister. Today she is very emotional about not having siblings and being the only child. She knows there is something not quite right and I daren’t discuss with her I agreed to have her sibling aborted (murdered)

I can’t tell you how this has haunted me all these years and I try to shut it out of my mind, but wonder what our child would have grown up to be.

My [20-30] year old daughter, [name] is a very successful career girl having worked in the [industry] since completing her education. She is very attractive young lady and has a very bubbly personality with excellent people skills, which I used to be like until I had a break down. I was extremely ill and ended up in a psychiatric ward with guilt and felt very depressed. From [0-10 years] I was under the mental health profession who were very supportive and caring. I also had been confirmed as a Catholic and found healing through the Church. I was one of the worst patients detained in hospital and there was no hope for me. My mother and eldest sister treated me to go on a pilgrimage to [town] in [country] where apparently the Blessed Virgin Mary had appeared to three shepherd children in 1917.

I was on all sorts of medication and had been warned to stop taking them I would have a very serious relapse. Due to the terrible side effects and not able to function I decided to stop taking all my medication. Not long after being in [town], [country] I made a full recovery and never looked back. Doctors, all the professional mental health ream (several of them) were astounded I returned to normal. I was kept on their records for about [0-10] years until my file was finally archived. In a nutshell it’s like someone having terminal cancer but making a full recovery without medical treatment.

I regained my confidence doing voluntary work which eventually ended in a career in the mental health services where I was offered a job with [mental health charity] helping people back to work who had mental health problems.

Where is this all going you may ask?

I went on to be successful working in mental health from [year] I struggle with what I did by allowing my child to be aborted.

There are many mothers and fathers who deeply regret what they did and a number of these have ended up within the mental health services.

I was told by a member of my family who I wish to be anonymous that she had 4 abortions, I was horrified but I was careful not to judge her, that would make me a hypricote.

This person deeply regrets all her abortions but also had a massive break down and has been under mental health services for over [10-20] years.

She has been in and out of psychiatric care and is regularly supported by mental health workers.

It has completely damaged her and has become socially excluded from society after a very successful career in the arts industry which led her to work on the [project].  She had a short span working for [company] putting together [designs], but was not able to cope at work because of her abortions. Since then she has claimed benefits and has cost the NHS a considerable amount of money. I wouldn’t like to guess how many women are in the same position.

I therefore hope that the government will see sense and one day make it illegal

The lord our Good God has given various messages through his prophets, seers warning the world that the killing of the innocents is evil, no matter what and that is why the world is in the state it is in. Soon the warning will happen, already it happening, weather patterns, wars, violence, breakdown in families, Californian fires, earth quakes etc. If abortion continues a great chastisement will fall on humanity as God is very angry with the world.  Turn away from sin before it’s too late.
