I would like to raise interest and attention within the area of any ban that separates individuals from their God given free will, and can potentially violate human rights!
Currently millions of people around the world are suffering due to limited information and false assumptions made by people in general. Evolution would point to several chemical compounds as being lessons and discoveries in the field of medical and social sciences. A more realistic and sensitive approach has been needed for a long time as current laws have their own dangers that attribute the situation as a whole. How can beings that have limited perception create the standards for others and have any idea of the consequences hence forth?
In regards to the current agenda of a blanket ban, I feel this is very dangerous and could cause several repercussions, when in fact if a different approach can be taken for a proper context to be found it can benefit society. Rather than a black or white conclusion, we could or should gradual implements measures with public safety at the core of its focus. Harm can be reduced and finance from the proper use of these agents can serve humanity. It’s approximated that one third of the worlds capital remains in the illegal black market drugs trade, and goodness knows how much else is in the pharmaceutical business. Doesn’t this show something about the global state and also the nature of the human being?
Making criminals out of explorers and medical patients shows total injustice, and the barrier between man and nature has limited function with Governments. Once people have information and choices the whole stigma around substance use can change, and we can finally graduate from the norms of alcohol and tobacco!
We should not leave our health choices in the hands of un-regulated dealers. If serving society is a priority there could be investment in the area of discovering and developing ‘safer’ drugs.
