I am married, I believe in marriage, and with much of what C4M (Coalition for Marriage) stand for.

In this matter I disagree with C4M.

I believe (until proven otherwise) that making marriage financially more attractive than co-habiting would be a questionable factor in the decision to marry.

Making marriage financially more attractive than co-habiting confounds (to some extent) the assertion that marriage is a “better” thing than co-habiting with respect to family life and stability.
