Delivering Core NHS and Care Services during the Pandemic and Beyond

are Services during the Pandemic and Beyond

Dear Committee,

I would like to know exactly what the committee are doing to reduce the number of deaths related to Thrombosis during the Coronavirus pandemic. With many patients presenting with the signs of Thrombosis, as well as presenting with signs of the virus, could more be done to reduce this rise?

With increased sedentary living because of the pandemic, people are working from home more, loved ones in care homes are becoming increasingly isolated, people are finding sedentary activities (gaming, binge watching television) the risk of developing a deadly blood clot is greatly increased. This fact will I’m afraid increase the number of deaths associated with the pandemic.

RBR Active’s medical team, lead by Professor Richard Beasley have developed the worlds only clinically researched, trialled and proven DVT prevention device. We have trialled in NHS Trust’s, care homes and commercial environments. We want to support the committee, what do we need to do?
