Social Care Reform

Differentiate between Social Care & Community based Health Care provision

              All Continuing Health Care Funded (CHCF) placements to fall under NHS budget

              Remove local Authorities from process when CHCF approved

              Standardize process for “lifetime” qualifying conditions such as Autism where                                           CHCF has already been approved/agreed.

Standardized annual percentage increases across all Local Authorities/Commissioning bodies.

              Currently market place is broken because of a breakdown in the commercial                                           relationship between Commissioners & Providers. No new entrants to the market.
