I am a retired doctor who has nearly always lived in an area where my vote has been useless.

I have tried tactical voting but this has not been of any value.

As the vast majority of European nations use some form of PR it shows this can be effective in allowing a feeling of engagement in politics and this is likely to improve voting in both local and national elections.
