Reform of Gender Recognition Act submission 2020 by C J BOX. 21/11/2020
Question. Should the requirement for diagnosis of gender dysphoria be removed?
Answer. No because:-
Gender is a scientific biological fact establish at inception needing 23 chromosomes from both a male and female to establish an individuals life, physical body and attributes.
We are moving from an objective (hard evidential) factual persona to a subjective (mental) non evidential state. This is a quantum philosophically lead shift from reality based decision making and must be resisted.
Removing serious diagnosis is reckless.
It increases the opportunity for sex change people to unrestricted access for predatory sexually perverted gratification.
Existing mental health issues remain untreated.
Should there be changes to the requirement for individuals to have lived in their acquired gender for at least two years.
All important non biological life changes require significant evidential justification by both the applicant and peers.
Evidence is increasing that detransitioners take a long time to realise there mistake so surely time must be given to allow discontent to surface before serious transition harm is done.
What is your view of Statutory declaration and should any changes be made to it.
Removing the statutory declaration removed the legal statement of intended permanence and encourages a quick unjustified fix to a perceived problem thus trivialising such a momentous decision.
Does the spousal consent provision in the Act need reforming.
Because it could change a heterosexual marriage into a homosexual one without agreement.
Should the age limit at which people can apply for a gender Recognition Certificate be lowered.
This is far more dangerous than getting a Tattoo. There has been a 3000% increase in referrals for Gender Dysphoria of youngsters while many just choose without symptoms (which surface as deep regret later. Many detransitioners complain that they were too quickly affirmed in their sex change request by those with a philosophical political agenda without concern to properly assess their situation. There is a lot of internet grooming going on too.
Are legal reforms needed to better support the rights of gender-fluid and non-binary people
There is no evidence for a third sex or any other number despite malicious suggestions that there are many hundreds of imaginary combinations to choose from.
A self declaration option would leave people free to “float” between any number of categories causing further confusion and mental turmoil to the victim and their friends and family.
The above is my reasoned evidential opinion. Such a societal enormously dangerous suggestion as gender change at all has huge spiritual significance to the well being of people and families which should not be ignored. The Word of God confirms what good science shows that Almighty God made us male and female. He does not make mistakes and we defy Him to our own cost. It bodes well for mankind to “Love God and Love our neighbour”. Thus where ever sickness is found in either body of soul great compassion and kindness needs to be provided to provide care and healing to affirm Gods good provision for men and women according to His declared perfect will.
