It was very very unfunny with NO water for two days in Tunbridge Wells. All the supermarkets sold out by Sunday morning 30th October and queues of cars blocking the roads with people trying to find water.

Coming from the fortunate position of having a water butt I was saved as having had a foot operation I couldn’t drive.

Seemingly we now live in a fourth world country. Having put up with no water for six days and eight further days with no potable drinking water why are we now facing a 40% rise in our water rates?

It is worse than a disgrace
