I believe that the ongoing rush to MTD is a mistake.

I work in practice and HMRC's obsession with its introduction will I believe bring untold problems, waste time and more significantly money for the users (taxpayers) at little to no benefit to them.

By all means introduce for businesses over £1m turnover who will more than likely be able to invest the time and money to comply.

Under that level....why are you doing it? What have you to gain? Fractions...in the meantime misery for taxpayers and their advisors.

Please have the courage to say you recognise this is foley!!

VAT MTD actually forced some people out of the system, falling behind on their VAT as they believed they couldn't submit the old way.

Please don't make the same mistakes again.

Take your time.

Don't have quarterly updates. How many businesses need that for their own benefit? So why on earth are HMRC asking for it.

Consider the end user for once and not your own needs.
