In answer to the Chair's question, there are 834 healthcare end user locations (NHS and private hospitals, community pharmacies and GP surgeries) across Northern Ireland that wholesale distributors supply medicines and medical devices to twice every weekday.

My comparable 17,000 figure for the whole of the UK was a rounded-up figure
