• The inspection at HMP Hewell was undertaken within 9 weeks of being a new incoming provider and transfer of the service from Milton Keynes College under the new PEF contract which commenced in April 2019.
• The Overall Effectiveness grade does not relate solely to the education provider in secure settings and instead relates to the whole of Learning and Skills provision across a prison, which is led and managed by the prison largely through subcontracting arrangements with a range of contractors in prisons, and also including their own provision.
