In June 2026, the Ockenden and Amos reviews into maternity care were published. The reviews, led by Donna Ockenden and Baroness Valerie Amos respectively, investigated failures in maternity and neonatal services. While the Ockenden review investigated Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust specifically, the Amos review examined nationwide and systemic issues. The Committee will question both Donna Ockenden and Baroness Amos on the findings of their reviews.
