One-off Session on The Home Defence Programme and National Resilience

The session will examine the Cabinet Office's Home Defence Programme which, according to Government, will result in "a cross-government plan for our security, preparedness, and resilience as a nation to deter threats to and defend the UK homeland” and will meet “the UK’s obligations under Article 3 of NATO’s founding treaty.” In addition to the Home Defence Programme, the session will explore the Minister’s work on cross-government co-ordination and the role which the Cabinet Office plays in the national conversation and the forthcoming Defence Readiness Bill.
