Childhood Vaccinations

Inquiry

The Childhood Vaccinations Committee is holding an inquiry to examine childhood vaccination coverage in England.

As part of this, we are holding a call for evidence to seek information and views from you.

The Committee wants to understand:

  • what the evidence is on routine childhood vaccination coverage in England;
  • why there has been a gradual decline in coverage over the past decade;
  • what the Government should do to reverse this decline and reduce disparities in childhood vaccination coverage.

In this inquiry, we are focusing on vaccinations in the routine immunisation schedule for infants, children, and young people up to the age of 18. You can also tell us about other vaccination programmes (such as vaccinations given during pregnancy) if you think it will help us understand how childhood vaccination coverage could be improved.

We want to hear from a diverse range of people and organisations with different experiences and perspectives

This inquiry is no longer accepting evidence

The deadline for submissions was 11:59pm on 6 May 2026.
