Moving animals across borders examined

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee session focuses on the movement of agricultural animals. It will explore disease surveillance, border resources, and the movement of animals between Great Britain and Northern Ireland. MPs will also question witnesses on the Government’s proposed ban on the export of live animals for slaughter and fattening, and its implications for domestic slaughterhouse capacity.
