Future of UK aid

Inquiry

The International Development Committee is conducting ongoing scrutiny work into the changes to the aid budget. Work in this area includes scrutiny of the cut from spending 0.7% to 0.5% of UK GNI on ODA, the merger of the FCO and DFID and the conclusions of the Integrated Review. This work also considers ongoing implementation of the International Development Strategy.

Following submissions to the inquiry on recent changes to the UK aid budget, we published a summary of the evidence here.

This inquiry is no longer accepting evidence

The deadline for submissions was Monday 7 March 2022.
