The Transport Committee is holding a one-off session to explore the landscape of car clubs and car sharing, including peer-to-peer and informal sharing. The session will look at how the alternatives to private car ownership are evolving, what role they can play in mobility, such as making vehicle access more affordable or tackling congestion on roads, and what regulatory or other factors affect their take-up.
