The committee will take evidence from experts to assess the relevance of the existing Defence Space Strategy given the current geopolitical climate since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. They will explore the benefits and risks posed by commercial collaboration in the space arena, and existing efforts to combat the skills gap and whether these have adequately addressed it.
