Ministers face questions on Welsh rail investment

At the previous session of the inquiry, Welsh Economy Minister Ken Skates asserted that spending on Welsh rail infrastructure between 2011 and 2016 “represents underinvestment of a billion or more pounds”. It is expected that Mr Heaton-Harris and Mr Davies will be questioned about these claims.

  • the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on rail projects benefitting Wales;
  • the Union Connectivity Review.
