Parliament 2019 - 2024: Fiscal and monetary lessons for future Parliaments

Inquiry

The Committee will be considering what lessons future governments, Parliaments and the Bank of England can learn from the economic shocks that occurred during the 2019 – 2024 Parliament, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the energy crisis, the large increases in the cost of living, and the outcomes of the “mini-Budget” in 2022.
