Future cancer

Inquiry

The Future Cancer inquiry will explore innovations in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

It will look at the innovations with the greatest potential to transform cancer diagnosis and treatment for patients in the short, medium and long term, and it will examine how innovations in diagnosing and treating cancer can best be transitioned into frontline clinical settings. It will also explore international examples of best practice.

Types of innovations that could be examined by the inquiry range from medicines and vaccines to artificial intelligence.

This inquiry builds on the Committee's recent work on cancer services, including its report in April 2022, which was focused largely on current provision of cancer services and the impact of the covid-19 pandemic.

Please first read the important information on this webpage and the terms of reference on the portal page. Your submission should be no more than 3,000 words.
