Economic crime

Inquiry

This inquiry will review what progress has been made in combatting economic crime since the Committee’s inquiry on the subject in the previous Parliament.

This inquiry will have two strands:

• Anti-money laundering systems and the sanctions regime

• How consumers are affected by economic crime

It should be noted that the Committee will not take up individual cases, and any suspected criminal activity should be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Read the call for evidence for more detail about the inquiry.

Contact us

We receive a significant number of emails each day. If you’ve asked for a reply, we’ll aim to respond as soon as we can, although during parliamentary recesses it may take slightly longer for us to respond. We’re usually able to reply more quickly to emails than to post. Please note, the Committee does not look at individual cases or specific complaints.
