An inquiry to examine the prevalence of so-called honour-based abuse in the UK, the extent to which the Government, police and other services understand the forms of such abuse, and the support in place to help victims.

The Committee published its report on 19 July. The Government’s response is due by 19 September.

This inquiry is part of the committee’s work into Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls.
