Horn of Africa: Hunger

Non-inquiry session

This oral evidence session examined the growing hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa. The Committee wanted to understand the extent of the hunger crisis and what the UK Government could do to help prevent famine-like conditions and suffering caused by hunger in the region. This session was to build on the Committee’s work in its Report on Food insecurity that was published earlier this year.
