Inquiry

The Sub-Committee on the Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland is undertaking a follow-up inquiry into the impact of the socio-economic and political impact of the Protocol, analysing developments since the publication of its introductory report in July 2021, and assessing the current state of play of discussions between the UK and the EU on the future of the Protocol. The Committee will begin hearing evidence before the commencement of the Northern Ireland Assembly election campaign at the end of March, and will continue its evidence programme after the election on 5 May.

The deadline for submissions was Monday 6 June 2022.
