The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee is to hold an evidence session as part of its Tree Planting and Woodlands inquiry.

Purpose of the session
In this session, MPs will explore targets and financial incentives for tree planting and woodland creation, ensuring that 'right tree right place' thinking is applied to Government plans, and how to manage and protect existing woodland. The session will also focus on forestry approval process, natural regeneration, and biosecurity and border controls on imports.
