Scrutiny of Brexit-related treaties

Inquiry

In January 2019 the European Union Select Committee and its six sub-committees began scrutinising all Brexit-related treaties, or international agreements, that the Government lays before Parliament prior to ratification. The Committee will do this work on a temporary basis, until the end of the 2017-19 session of Parliament. It will look at each treaty and decide whether to draw it to the special attention of the House of Lords, or to report it for information.
