Secretary of State for Wales to be quizzed on issues ranging from freeports to the levelling up agenda

The Welsh Affairs Committee will on Thursday hold an evidence session with the Secretary of State for Wales as part of its regular scrutiny of his responsibilities.

During the session, which will also be attended by Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, David T C Davies MP, the Committee will be covering a range of issues relating to the UK Government’s policy agenda and its implications for Wales.

Among the topics likely to be covered by the Committee are  freeports, the levelling-up and community renewal funds, and the state of intergovernmental relations with the Welsh Government.
