Should online platforms have more liability for the content that they host?

The Communications Committee takes evidence from three of the UK's largest Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Sky, Virgin Media and TalkTalk are questioned as part of the Committee's inquiry investigating internet regulation.

Background

The session covers topics including the liability that online platforms should have for the content that they host; how video on demand services and TV-like content should be regulated; and what principles and best practice should guide the design of internet services and other technological products, for example, for the protection of children.
