Welsh rates of income tax inquiry

Inquiry

Rt Hon Greg Hands MP, Chief Secretary, HM Treasury, gives evidence to the Welsh Affairs Committee regarding Welsh rates of income tax. In the Autumn Statement 2015, the Government announced it "will legislate to remove the requirement for the Welsh Assembly to hold a referendum in order to implement the Welsh Rates of Income Tax, to reflect the change in the debate in Wales". This evidence session is an opportunity to examine these proposals.
