In 2015, HMRC announced a ten-year modernisation programme to create a tax authority "fit for the future, committing to high-quality jobs and the creation of 13 new regional centres over the next five years".
The Treasury Sub-Committee will scrutinise HMRC's progress in achieving this so far as well as looking at issues facing the transformation programme going forward.
