The Committee took evidence from Robert Chote following his re-appointment as Chair of the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) on Tuesday 15 September 2015.

Following the evidence session the Committee is satisfied that Robert Chote has the professional competence and personal independence to be reappointed as Chair of the OBR. His work over the last four years reflects this.
