Inquiry

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon George Osborne MP, gave his Budget Statement on 19 March 2014.

As part of the Treasury Committee's inquiry into the Budget 2013, evidence hearings were held on Tuesday 25 March at 10.00pm. This session will took evidence from a range city economists and industry experts.

The following day, Wednesday 26 March, the Office for Budget Responsibility was questioned by the Committee.

The Committee’s public evidence sessions will concluded on the 3 April with an appearance from the Chancellor of the Exchequer on Thursday 3 April.
