Independent Commission on Banking: Interim Report

Inquiry

The Independent Commission on Banking was established by the Government in June 2010 to "consider the structure of the UK banking sector, and look at structural and non-structural measures to reform the banking system and promote competition". The Commission published its Interim Report on 11 April 2011 and the Committee undertook a short inquiry on its proposals.

Following the publication of the ICB's Final Report the Committee continued its inquiry into the proposals made by the ICB. Further details can be found on the ICB: Final Report inquiry page.
