Correspondence and evidence relating to IT problems at TSB published

The Treasury Committee has today published a series of correspondence and evidence relating to the IT problems at TSB.

1. A series a correspondence from Mark Brown, General Secretary of TBU, which is ‘the largest independent trade union in TSB representing over 4,000 members of staff', to Rt Hon. Nicky Morgan MP, Chair of the Treasury Committee, and Dame Sandra Dawson, Chair of the TSB Remuneration Committee, regarding TSB's IT migration. This is followed by a number of TBU newsletters dating from 15 September 2017 to 6 June 2018. The newsletters cover the period leading up to and after the migration in April 2018. They give additional details on the service disruption at TSB, and the effects on staff.
2. Correspondence from Richard Meddings, Chair of TSB, to Mrs Morgan, updating the Committee on TSB's IT migration; confirming – at the Committee's request—that TSB will publish Slaughter and May's independent review of TSB's IT migration; and providing IBM's slides, which the Committee published last week, on the first cut of the IT problems at TSB.
