Railways: Update with the Rail Minister inquiry

The session is intended to scrutinise the work of the Department for Transport on rail issues, with a focus on:

  • Rail franchising, including issues with the Rail Pension Scheme;
  • Accessibility, including trains and stations;
  • Infrastructure investment and timetabling, following up on the Committee’s 2018 reports on these issues; and
  • Rail fares, ticketing and compensation
