The Secretary of State for Transport, Patrick McLoughlin was questioned on Monday 20 July 2015 on the performance of Network Rail, and the Government's decision to "pause" key rail electrification projects.

The Permanent Secretary of the Department for Transport, Philip Rutnam, also gave evidence alongside the Secretary of State in the Transport Committee's first oral evidence session of the 2015 Parliament.
