Department for Transport questioned on vehicle type approval

The Transport Committee hears from consumer rights experts on the fallout from the Volkswagen emissions scandal and examines the case for compensating affected vehicle owners. The Committee also questions the Department for Transport and the Vehicle Certification Agency on the evidence it has heard to date on the emissions scandal and the vehicle type approval system.
