NATS: failure in air traffic management systems

Inquiry

The evidence session examines the failure of NATS’s (National Air Traffic Services) air traffic control that caused the partial closure of London's air space on Friday 12 December 2014.

Topics for discussion include investment in air traffic management, compensation for airlines and passengers, and the forthcoming CAA investigation.

The Committee questioned the Secretary of State for Transport on this subject on Monday 15 December.
