Clinical trials transparency: follow-up inquiry

The Science and Technology Committee will hold a one-off evidence session to follow up on the Committee’s report on Research integrity: clinical trials transparency, published in October 2018.

Earlier this year the Chair of the Committee wrote to UK universities and English NHS trusts to request verification that the organisations were working towards full compliance with their obligation to publish clinical trials results.

The Committee will use this evidence session to assess the progress made by universities and trusts and to discuss barriers and progress with representatives of regulatory bodies and publishers.
