Evidence session with Alex Chisholm on the work of the Cabinet Office

The Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee takes evidence from Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary, Alex Chisholm, as part of its ongoing inquiry into the work of the department.

Purpose of the session

The wide-ranging session will examine issues including the Cabinet Office’s role in co-ordinating the Government’s response to the covid-19 pandemic, and its use of data to inform policy making and understand impact. It will also examine the Cabinet Office response to potential conflicts of interest for officials and ministers, procurement, and general expenditure and administration.
