Implementation of English votes for English laws inquiry

Inquiry

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee holds one-off public evidence session with Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, Leader of the House of Commons, to discuss the implementation of English votes for English laws. The session will examine, among other issues, the use of the new procedures since their introduction in October 2015; how they affect MPs representing constituencies in Northern Ireland; the application of the certification process for England-only and England and Wales-only legislation; the potential future implications of the new procedures for the Barnett Formula; and the anticipated review process in the next Session of Parliament.
